Whipped Cream

Yield: 1 cup
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cold heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp confectioners sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Add your three ingredients to a bowl and beat (either with a hand mixer or an electric mixer) for 3 to 4 minutes until stiff peaks form. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 24 hours.

Notes

If you'd like to stabilize your whipped cream, you can add 1/2 tbsp of cornstarch to your mix before beating. This will get your whipped cream to a consistency closer to butter cream frosting-- much better for spreading or piping!
