Jerk Marinade
Ingredients
- 1 whole Scotch bonnet pepper (or jalepeno/serrano)
- 2 scallions, roughly chopped
- 1 ½ inch knob fresh ginger, roughly chopped
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp dried thyme leaves
- 1 tsp ground allspice
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 dried bay leaves
- ¼ cup lime juice
- 2 tbsp Jamaican rum
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
Mix all this stuff up and you're good to go!
